Clinical Biochemistry

The purpose of this subject is analysis of case reports from all clinical specialties with emphasis on laboratory findings. Students will be asked about a) formulation of diagnosis, b) differential diagnostics, c) plan of further medical examinations, d) plan of therapy. Presentation of each case report will be followed by discussion on current state of knowledge on the given disease including research aspects, complete differential diagnostics, and available therapeutic options.
